We provide medical screening to ensure that you
are able to take the diving environment.
A proper medical screening is important not
only because is it required by many dive companies,
when you dive you are also subjected to a
demanding and unique environment.
A proper diving medical screening is more than
having a doctor endorse your medical checklist.
A dive medical can:
- Ensure that you are able to dive enjoyably and safely with a peace of mind that you can take the pressure of an underwater environment
- Help to ensure that special attention is being paid to you by the dive instructor in certain cases
- Reduce the liability of the instructor as they are ultimately responsible for your safety
- Provide valuable advice on your fitness to dive, how long, how deep, how much, if you have past or current diseases or is on any medication
- Certification and sign off on the dive medical clearance form
- Dive screening
- Lung function test
- Hypersensitivity testing (when required)
- Pressurization test / dive simulation (optional)
Other medical investigation can also be done in the same place when needed
- Chest X-ray
- Audiogram
- ECG
You can also combine it with a health screening package at a very competitive price as a value added service to you.

call us. A diving doctor will be there to provide
advice on what to do when you are feeling unwell.
He would be able to answer questions like:
I am not feeling well, can I dive today?
What should I do? I feel unwell?
I have some joint pains, is it DCS?
I have a headache, what is the cause?
I am on medications? can I dive?
I have been stung by a sea creature, I feel unwell now, what should I do?
If you had
your medical history with us when you came for
medical screening, the response is even better
as we would have your medical background with
us.
DMEDS will also assist with your
return should you require recompression therapy,
advice and consultation with the local doctor
that will see you to ensure that you can get the
best local care before going back to a centre
of excellence in Singapore.
